Designed in the 1940s by Corradino D’Ascanio, the Vespa is a symbol of Made in Italy excellence. Soon, thanks in part to cinematography, it became an icon: famous scenes of Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck riding a Vespa in the 1953 film Roman Holiday.
