An ancient myth has it that Medusa’s blood, upon meeting with salt water, is able to transform seaweed into precious branches of red coral.
It is formed by a colony of microorganisms that grow only under certain conditions: it is one of the greatest riches, a symbol of eternity, preserved in the recesses of the Mediterranean Sea in its color variations ranging from pink-typical of Sciacca-to red.
