Charm Tutorial

In heraldry the term Trinacria denotes a female head with three bent legs moving from it. Often, because of its triangular shape, Sicily is also so called: from the ancient Greek "trinacrios," meaning treis (three) and à kra (promontories), like those that mark the perimeter of the island.
Our jewels are completely nickel free and are covered with a thin layer of palladium, to allow the gilding to last a long time.
In order to prolong the good hold of the jewels, implement small measures:
- store the jewel in its box or on a soft surface avoiding contact with other jewels;
- remove your jewelery before swimming or exercising, water and sweat can be harmful;
- If your jewel comes into contact with water, dry it immediately by dabbing it with a microfibre cloth;
- limit contact with chemical products, creams and perfumes as much as possible and handle them with care;
- if your jewel has suffered an impact, contact an Isola Bella Gioielli retailer immediately, or contact the Assistance Centre.

The horseshoe has been considered auspicious since ancient times: it was introduced in ancient Greece to protect horses and - consequently - riders. Because of this beneficial and saving function it was considered an amulet, especially in countries where horses were used in trade and agriculture, as in Sicily with the tradition of carts. A small charm that becomes a lucky charm to be worn at all times.
