Isola Bella Gioielli on I Love Sicily to tell the story of beauty in times of crisis

It is a special fashion feature celebrating the strength of women and their beauty in issue 165 of I Love Sicilia, the Sicilian monthly magazine that has been chronicling the island, its customs and its excellence for 18 years. Taking center stage – in the report coordinated by Alessia Russo – is the stubbornness of four Catanese businesswomen who, despite the period of crisis, do not give up their smiles and charm by carrying out their projects with determination and courage.

Rachele Fichera, Bice Guastella, Ermelinda Gulisano and Eva Spampinato tell their stories while posing in front of thelens of Walter Maria Russo in the heart of Catania, inside theBoutique Asmundo di Gisira hotel, among works of art and wonderful views in which history is intertwined with contemporaneity.

Each one flashes her smile and story with pride and optimism. Dressing them is Catanian designer Marco Strano, with outfits that are true dreams to wear amidst Sicilian embroidery and fabrics; completing the looks is jewelry by Isola Bella Gioielli, small handmade works inspired by the nature of the island, its history and traditions.

Among the creations photographed were the pendant and earrings inspired by St. Agatha, some bijoux dedicated to the flowers of our land, the Cross of St. Benedict pendant, jewelry celebrating to ancient Sicilian lace, and rings paying tribute to the 4 elements of the Volcanic Island, Air, Water, Fire and Earth.

Highlighting each protagonist’s personality was the Make up by Orazio Tomarchio’s La Truccheria Cherie andHair Styling by Martina La Rosa and Federico Celi for Giovanni Ventura Parrucchieri.

A tribute to women who are an inspiration to other women and to a land full of projects, optimism and energy.
