Isola Bella Jewelry supports theater with The Merry Wives of Windsor

It is time to start again and to supporting culture and theater: so Isola Bella Gioielli has chosen to be partner for the staging of “The Merry Wives of Windsor”, the new show produced by Vision Sicily and Buongiorno Sicilia under the patronage of the City of Catania that debuts on Friday, July 9 in the cloister-courtyard of the Ardizzone Gioeni Institute for the Blind, a striking outdoor space in the heart of the city of Etna.

A partnership that is renewed for the common goal of enhancing Sicily’s cultural heritage and territory, rediscovering places in a new guise; full of charm the exceptional stages where “Inferno,” “Odyssey” and “Agatha the Holy Maiden” – the productions that have already garnered the support of the jewelry brand – have sold out, such as the Alcantara Gorges, the Gonfalone Quarries in Ragusa, the former church of Santa Caterina in Noto, and the Badia di Sant’Agata in Catania.

Now the challenge is renewed with an entertaining comedy by William Shakespeare, directed and adapted by Giovanni Anfuso. The performers of the show are, in alphabetical order, Angelo D’Agosta, Valentina Ferrante, Barbara Gallo, Plinio Milazzo, Luigi Nicotra, Salvo Piro, Liliana Randi, Davide Sbrogiò and then Pietro Casano, Gabriele D’Astoli, Corrado Drago, Luciano Fioretto, Giulia Messina, Davide Pandolfo, Francesco Rizzo, Fabrizio Scuderi, Mattia Valenti.

Costumes and scenic elements are by Riccardo Cappello, music is by Paolo Daniele and choreography by Fia Distefano. The assistant director is Agnese Failla.

A big bet for the restart of events and entertainment workers in a Sicily that needs and wants to get back on track.
