Isola Bella Jewelry for Confindustria’s Summer Training Week

This past week, two talented students from Galileo Galilei High School in Catania participated with great success in Summer Training Week, a program aimed at providing high school students with practical experience in the world of work, sponsored by Confindustria. The project, in its second year, aims to promote career guidance, business culture and innovation. Selected students have the opportunity to visit various companies and departments, working closely with industry professionals and developing practical skills.
During this intensive week, the girls had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of Isola Bella Gioielli. In particular, they spent time in the department of Jewel production. They had the opportunity to observe and participate in different stages of the production process, learning the techniques and skills needed to create High-quality handcrafted jewelry. This hands-on experience enabled them to gain an in-depth understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the jewelry industry.

The girls also spent time in the company's sales and management offices, where they were able to observe how the administrative, financial and strategic aspects of the company are managed. They had the opportunity to participate in working meetings, attend project presentations and understand the importance of collaboration between different company departments. This experience broadened their view of the internal dynamics of a company and strengthened their awareness of the different careers available in a corporate setting.

Simona Arcidiacono, marketing manager of Isola Bella Gioielli, welcomes the students to the company.
One of the highlights of the girls' experience was their involvement in thecompany's marketing department. Here, they worked together with Claudia Truglio and Tatiana Consoli, marketing executive and designer of Isola Bella Gioielli, respectively, to create the FW 23/24 moodboard. They studied fashion and design trends, selected colors, materials and images that would best represent the concept of the collection. Their creativity and expertise led to the creation of an eye-catching moodboard in line with the company's goals.
In addition to the moodboard, the girls had the opportunity to help prepare the social page feed, which will be published in the winter months. They worked in synergy with the marketing department to create engaging and interesting content, attracting the attention of potential customers and reflecting the brand's personality. This experience allowed them to put into practice the skills they learned during the week and directly see the impact their ideas can have on their target audiences.

"It amazed me how the analytical, numerical approach and the creative approach become indispensable to each other. Having had the opportunity to get my hands on a project, I discovered a passion for a world that until now I hadn't carefully considered and that I now look forward to for my future."
