Saint Agatha is the patron saint of the city of Catania. Persecuted after rejecting the Roman governor Quintianus-having consecrated her life to the Christian religion-she was martyred on February 5, 251. To the "Santuzza," venerated as a saint, virgin and martyr, is dedicated one of the most beautiful and impressive religious festivals in the world, celebrated between Feb. 3 and 5, in which faith and folklore are mixed.
The bust of the saint, which contains part of the relics and is carried in procession on the ferculum, was made in the 14th century: made entirely of silver, it is covered with more than 300 jewels and votive offerings made of precious stones, some of which were donated by famous historical figures,the value of which has been declared priceless.
Our jewels are completely nickel free and are covered with a thin layer of palladium, to allow the gilding to last a long time.
In order to prolong the good hold of the jewels, implement small measures:
- store the jewel in its box or on a soft surface avoiding contact with other jewels;
- remove your jewelery before swimming or exercising, water and sweat can be harmful;
- If your jewel comes into contact with water, dry it immediately by dabbing it with a microfibre cloth;
- limit contact with chemical products, creams and perfumes as much as possible and handle them with care;
- if your jewel has suffered an impact, contact an Isola Bella Gioielli retailer immediately, or contact the Assistance Centre.

A hand-enameled pendant brings back memories of a citrus grove, with its heady scents and colors.

Jasmine is a plant of Arab origin that blooms between late spring and early summer. In Italy it is linked to good luck in love and is very often chosen for flower arrangements and to adorn gardens because of its pleasant scent.
Pink Mini Collier
€159,00
Since ancient Greece, roses have been a symbol of eternal love. The myth of Aphrodite and Adonis is also linked to this charm-filled flower: the goddess, in love with the hunter, could do nothing when her beloved was wounded by a wild animal; in an attempt to save him, she wounded herself with brambles, and red roses bloomed from his blood. Zeus, struck by the power of love, allowed Adonis to live in Hades only a few months of the year so that he could stay with his beloved for more time: this is why the rose is a symbol of a strong love that overcomes everything. A necklace dedicated to those who believe in the power of feelings and love the most beautiful flower in creation.
