Mori Queen Nude Pendant

In Sicily it is easy to come across pairs of vases that have the likeness of a young Moor and a young maiden, born out of the legend of love and jealousy set in Palermo around the year 1100. It was here that a girl, conquered and then abandoned by a Moor, decided to cut off his head and turn it into a pot in which a basil plant grew luxuriantly. A necklace pays tribute to the legend.
