In ancient times, the trinacria was a religious symbol representing the Sun God and the three seasons, spring, summer, and winter. Since Roman times it has been used as a symbol of Sicily, enriched in this pendant with elements that make the island unique in the world: the Sun, grapes and citrus fruits.
