A bull with a human face, interpreting the violent Gelas River, and an armed horseman, a reference to the tyrant Hippocrates: these are the figures reproduced in the silver and ruthenium charm dedicated to the city of Gela, which began minting coins around 490 B.C. Goldsmiths pay tribute to this excellent artistic production with a collection that aims to turn the spotlight on the sculptural skills of our island, today as yesterday.
