The wealthy cities of Sicily in the time of Magna Graecia produced coins considered by many collectors to be among the most beautiful in the ancient world, due to the scenes depicted with great detail and meticulous sculpture. The care given to everyday things indicates what the level of art was in that era that we still draw inspiration from today to preserve our artistic and cultural heritage.
Our jewels are completely nickel free and are covered with a thin layer of palladium, to allow the gilding to last a long time.
In order to prolong the good hold of the jewels, implement small measures:
- store the jewel in its box or on a soft surface avoiding contact with other jewels;
- remove your jewelery before swimming or exercising, water and sweat can be harmful;
- If your jewel comes into contact with water, dry it immediately by dabbing it with a microfibre cloth;
- limit contact with chemical products, creams and perfumes as much as possible and handle them with care;
- if your jewel has suffered an impact, contact an Isola Bella Gioielli retailer immediately, or contact the Assistance Centre.

The jasmine plant comes from the Middle East and, according to legend, arrived in Italy thanks to Cosimo de' Medici, who wanted the plant in his majestic garden. He was so jealous of the white-flowered, fragrant plant that he forbade anyone to take away even a small sprig of it; one day, however, a young gardener decided to give a sprig to his fiancée, who planted it in her garden where the plant grew luxuriantly. The couple began selling sprigs of it to everyone who was impressed by its fragrance and beauty, so they made their fortune and the jasmine slowly spread to gardens all over Italy. Earrings pay tribute to this delicately beautiful flower.
